Policy
1 Year Link Assurance
Every placement we build carries a one-year assurance. If a link drops within twelve months of going live, we replace it. This page sets out exactly what that covers.
1. What is covered
Any editorial placement we built for you that goes live on a publisher site, is listed in your monthly report, and meets the published placement bar:
- DR 25+–90 domain
- 1,000+ monthly visitors
- Dofollow, contextual link inside editorial content
- One link per domain
- Index-checked after it goes live
2. What counts as a drop
A placement is treated as dropped when, within twelve months of the date it was first reported live, any of the following happens:
- the link is removed from the publisher's page;
- the link is changed from dofollow to nofollow;
- the link is repointed away from your target URL; or
- the publisher's page carrying the link is taken down.
Changes in rankings, traffic, or the publisher's own domain rating are not drops. Assurance covers the link being present as agreed, not the outcome it produces.
3. What we do about it
We replace the dropped placement with one new editorial placement that meets the same published bar, on a relevant publisher, with one link per domain. The replacement is included in your plan — there is no extra charge and it does not reduce the number of new placements in that month.
Replacements are not cash refunds. All sales are final, as set out in the refund policy.
Report a drop to contact@buildingbacklinks.io with the live URL from your monthly report. We reply within one business day, confirm the drop, and schedule the replacement.
4. What is not covered
- Placements where your target page has been removed, redirected, or returns an error, so the link can no longer point to it.
- Links you asked us to remove or change.
- Links that were never built by us, or that do not appear in your monthly reports.
- Placements older than twelve months from the date they were first reported live.
5. How you verify it
Your monthly report lists every live URL with its domain rating, traffic, and the target page it points to, so you can check each one yourself without asking us. If a link in that report is gone, tell us and we will act on it.
6. Questions
Anything unclear, or a placement you think should be covered? Email contact@buildingbacklinks.io and we will look at it directly.
