On-page
Find the dead links on a page
Links rot quietly. This loads the page, tests each link, and tells you which ones are actually dead instead of making you guess.
No API. Fetches the page and its links directly.

How it works
- Pulls every anchor out of the HTML and works out the full URL for relative links.
- Sends a live request to each one, switching to a normal GET when a server refuses HEAD.
- Keeps 401, 403 and 429 in their own bucket. Those mean the site blocked a bot, not that the page is gone.
Where it stops
- First 60 links only.
- No JavaScript-rendered links.

Common questions
Why is a link marked blocked instead of broken?
The server answered with 401, 403 or 429, which usually means bot protection. The page is probably fine in a browser, so calling it broken would send you chasing nothing.
Does it find links added by JavaScript?
No. It reads the HTML the server sends. If your links only exist after the browser runs your scripts, they're invisible here.
Can I scan the whole site?
Not with this. One page per run, up to 60 links. Crawling a site properly needs a crawler.
