How it works
- Runs four checks on every linker: junk TLD, spam keyword, link farm outbound volume, hyphen stuffing.
- Weights them and reports how much of the sample tripped a rule.
- Shows the reason per domain so you can overrule it when the heuristic is wrong.
Where it stops
- Heuristic only.
- Not a penalty assessment.

Common questions
Is this Moz Spam Score?
No. It's four rules applied to domain names and outbound counts. Moz uses a trained model on a much bigger data set.
Should I disavow the flagged domains?
Almost certainly not. Google's own advice is that most sites shouldn't use the disavow tool at all. Act on a manual action or clear evidence of negative SEO, not on a list like this.
Why does my site show a risk score when nothing is wrong?
The score is the share of sampled linkers that matched a rule. A site with a lot of directory links scores higher without doing anything wrong.
